P2PScore is an independent editorial website that scores, reviews and compares peer-to-peer lending and crowdlending platforms operating in Europe. We publish data-driven analysis, scoring methodology and educational guides to help retail investors make informed decisions.
We are not a financial adviser, investment platform, broker, bank or fund manager. We do not hold client money, we do not execute trades on behalf of users, and we do not offer personalised investment recommendations tailored to individual financial circumstances. Our scores, ratings and commentary constitute editorial opinion based on publicly available information and our stated methodology - they do not constitute regulated investment advice under MiFID II, the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, or equivalent national legislation.
By using this site you acknowledge that you are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before investing in any platform or financial product mentioned here. You accept that investment decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.
We make reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that platform data, returns, regulatory status and other factual information published on P2PScore are accurate and current as of the date stated on each page. However, P2P lending is a dynamic sector: platforms can change terms, suspend operations, lose licences, alter fee structures or experience defaults without prior notice to us.
We rely on data supplied by platforms themselves, regulator registries, company filings and third-party sources. We cannot warrant the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of such data. Platform scores are recalculated monthly but may not reflect events that occur between update cycles. Historical performance data does not predict future results.
You use all information on this site at your own risk. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for errors, omissions or outdated information.
Investing in peer-to-peer lending and crowdlending involves the risk of partial or total loss of capital. Returns advertised by platforms are not guaranteed and depend on borrower performance, platform solvency and macroeconomic conditions. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Where platforms offer investor compensation schemes under MiFID II or similar regulation, such schemes typically protect only against platform insolvency or misconduct - they do not cover losses arising from borrower defaults, late payments or loan write-offs. Buy-back guarantees and similar mechanisms depend on the solvency of the originating company and are not regulatory protections.
Loans to businesses and consumers are unsecured or secured by assets whose value may decline. Real estate-backed loans carry property market risk, valuation risk and foreclosure delays. Cross-border loans introduce currency risk and enforcement complexity. Platforms themselves can fail: EstateGuru, Kuetzal, Envestio and others entered insolvency or suspended withdrawals, causing investor losses.
You should only invest money you can afford to lose, diversify across platforms and loan types, and ensure you understand each platform's risk profile before depositing funds.
P2PScore earns revenue through affiliate commissions: when you click a referral link to a platform and subsequently register or invest, we may receive a commission from that platform. This commercial relationship does not influence our scoring methodology - all platforms are evaluated using the same six weighted criteria detailed on our methodology page.
Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every money page and on our dedicated affiliate disclosure page. We never present affiliate links as neutral recommendations. Where a platform is featured as a sponsored partner outside our scored index, we label it explicitly as "Sponsored".
All content on P2PScore - including text, graphics, logos, scoring data, methodologies and software - is owned by P2PScore or used under licence. The site design, scoring algorithm and editorial voice are proprietary.
